Illinois High School Softball - Williamsville bounces Pleasant Plains
May 2, 2018: Williamsville, IL 62693 Williamsville Bullets (Williamsville, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Pleasant Plains Cardinals (Pleasant Plains, IL), 4-0 in a league challenge.
The Bullets now own a 23-4 record. They take the field next when they host Sangamon Valley/Tri-City for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 4. Williamsville will battle a Storm squad coming off a 9-0 league win over Morrisonville (Morrisonville, IL). The Storm record now stands at 19-0.
With the loss, Pleasant Plains falls to 12-8 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Auburn (Auburn, IL) to battle the Trojans in a Sangamo challenge on Friday, May 4. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 16-4.
