The Central Red Devils basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Mattanawcook Lynx to 45 in the Red Devils league triumph on Tuesday.

The Red Devils now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bucksport for a C East contest on Thursday, January 15. Central will battle a Golden Bucks team coming off a 56-42 non-league loss to Washington Academy (East Machias, ME). The Golden Bucks record now stands at 1-10.

The Lynx (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Stearns (Millinocket, ME). The Minutemen enter the C East contest with a 4-4 record.
