The Rock Hill Bearcats held off the visiting South Pointe Stallions football team by a count of 29-22 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Rock Hill upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Bearcats travel to Chester (Chester, SC) to confront the Cyclones in a non-league outing on Friday, August 31. The Cyclones go into the outing with a record of 2-0. Chester won 28-20 in their recent non-league outing against Fort Mill (Fort Mill, SC)

With the loss, South Pointe moves to 1-1 on the season. The Stallions host Nation Ford (Fort Mill, SC) to confront the Falcons in a non-league outing on Friday, August 31. The Falcons go into the outing with a record of 1-1. Nation Ford won 28-17 in their recent non-league outing against Conway (Conway, SC)
