South Carolina High School Football - Northwestern prevails Clover

October 14, 2016: Rock Hill, SC 29732

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Northwestern Trojans (Rock Hill, SC) and the visiting Clover Blue Eagles (Clover, SC), observed Northwestern's football squad defeat Clover by a count of 40-21.

The Trojans now own a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Nation Ford for a AAAAA Region IV contest on Friday, October 21. Northwestern will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 42-27 non-league loss to Byrnes (Duncan, SC). The Falcons record now stands at 6-2.

Coming up next, the Blue Eagles encounter the Rock Hill Bearcats (Rock Hill, SC) in a AAAAA Region IV contest, on Friday, October 21. Clover will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Bearcats go into the contest with a 2-6 record after their 48-28 league win over Fort Mill (Fort Mill, SC).
