The Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) basketball nipped the visiting West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC), 43-39 in Saturday's league test.

The Screaming Eagle (6-14) will now prepare for their test against Hoggard (Wilmington, NC). The Vikings go into the Mideastern 3A/4A test with a 12-8 record. In their last test, Hoggard got by Topsail (Hampstead, NC), 68-56, in a league test.
