The McDowell Trojans basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the host George Junior Republic to 44 in the Trojans league victory on Tuesday.

The Trojans now sport a 9-1 record. They play next when they host Hollidaysburg for a non-league contest on Friday, January 14.

The (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Strong Vincent (Erie, PA). The Colonels come into the District 10 Region 8 contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Strong Vincent was defeated by Cathedral Prep (Erie, PA), 74-62, in a league contest.
