In Friday's league match, the visiting Silver Stage Nighthawks basketball team scored a tight 55-50 triumph over the North Tahoe Lakers.

In their next game, the Nighthawks meet the Incline Highlanders (Incline Village, NV) in a III Northern match, on Saturday, January 10. Silver Stage will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Highlanders enter the game with a 11-2 record after their 79-62 league win over Pershing County (Lovelock, NV).
