New York High School Basketball - St. Anthony's succumbs to Long Island Lutheran
January 30, 2013: Brookville, NY 11545 The Long Island Lutheran Crusaders topped the visiting St. Anthony's Friars basketball team by a final score of 63-45 in Wednesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Crusaders face the Albany Academy for Boys Cadets (Albany, NY) in a non-league game, on Saturday, February 2. Long Island Lutheran will attempt to move on its 17-2 season record. The Cadets enter the game with a 11-2 record after their 79-68 non-league win over Green Tech (Albany, NY).
With the defeat, St. Anthony's moves to 1-5 on the year. The Friars host St. John the Baptist (West Islip, NY) to face the Cougars in a Catholic Nassau Suffolk game on Friday, February 1.
