Illinois High School Basketball - Princeville overwhelms Mercer County
December 4, 2017: Princeville, IL 61559 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Princeville Princes (Princeville, IL) and the visiting Mercer County Golden Eagles (Aledo, IL), saw Princeville's basketball squad wallop Mercer County by a tally of 47-17.
With the victory, Princeville improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Princes host ROWVA (Oneida, IL) to confront the Tigers in a Lincoln Trail challenge on Wednesday, December 6. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. ROWVA lost 78-27 in their recent league challenge against Wethersfield (Kewanee, IL)
Next up, the Golden Eagles confront the Stark County Rebels (Toulon, IL) in a Lincoln Trail challenge, on Wednesday, December 6. Mercer County will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 37-14 league win over Biggsville West Central (Biggsville, IL).
