Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Reading Memorial Rockets (Reading, MA) and the visiting Melrose Red Raiders (Melrose, MA), saw Reading Memorial's basketball squad trounce Melrose by a score of 60-18.

With the victory, Reading Memorial improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Seacoast Christian (South Berwick, ME) to battle the Guardians in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 27. The Guardians come into the challenge with a record of 3-1.

Next up, the Red Raiders battle the Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, MA) in a Middlesex challenge, on Tuesday, January 11. Melrose will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record.
