Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Central of Coosa County Cougars (Rockford, AL) and the visiting Midfield Patriots (Midfield, AL), saw Central of Coosa County's basketball squad knock off Midfield by a count of 68-60.

With the victory, Central of Coosa County upgrades its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Talladega (Talladega, AL) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 4. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 11-5.
