The Shenango Wildcats (New Castle, PA) basketball felled the visiting Beaver Bobcats (Beaver, PA), 74-61 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Wildcats (8-8) will now prepare for their test against Laurel (New Castle, PA). The Spartans go into the WPIAL AA 2 contest with a 3-11 record. In their last contest, Laurel was defeated by Neshannock (New Castle, PA), 61-55, in a league contest.
