New Mexico High School Basketball - West Las Vegas falls to Hope Christian
January 14, 2017: Las Vegas, NM 87701 In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Hope Christian Huskies basketball team scored a good 66-54 triumph over the West Las Vegas Dons.
In their next game, the Huskies meet the Moriarty Pintos (Moriarty, NM) in a 4A District 4 match, on Tuesday, January 17. Hope Christian will attempt to better on its 13-4 season record. The Pintos enter the match with a 8-9 record after their 57-42 non-league win over Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM).
With the defeat, West Las Vegas moves to 11-4 on the year. The Dons travel to Robertson (Las Vegas, NM) to meet the Cardinals in a 4A District 2 match on Friday, January 20. The Cardinals enter the match with a record of 9-7. Robertson lost 46-39 in their recent league challenge against St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM)
