Indiana High School Basketball - Franklin County tipped by Connersville
February 19, 2010: Connersville, IN 47331 The Connersville Spartans basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Franklin County Wildcats to 56 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Friday.
The Spartans now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Whiteland for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 20. Connersville will confront a Warriors team coming off a 57-55 league win over Martinsville (Martinsville, IN). The Warriors record now stands at 7-12.
The Wildcats (12-7) will now prepare for their contest against East Central (St. Leon, IN). The Trojans enter the Eastern Indiana contest with a 15-3 record. In their last contest, East Central nudged Lawrenceburg (Lawrenceburg, IN), 42-40, in a league contest.
