March 11, 2015: Pittsboro, NC 27312 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the Jordan-Matthews Jets (Siler City, NC) and the host Northwood Chargers (Pittsboro, NC), saw Jordan-Matthews's softball squad nip Northwood by a count of 4-1.
The Jets now sport a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Randleman for a non-league match on Friday, March 13. Jordan-Matthews will face a Tigers squad coming off a 15-5 non-league loss to Wesleyan Christian Academy (High Point, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Northwood drops to 1-2 on the year. The Chargers host Panther Creek (Cary, NC) to encounter the Catamounts in a non-league test on Monday, March 16. The Catamounts come into the test with a record of 2-1. Panther Creek won 13-2 in their recent league test against Athens Drive (Raleigh, NC)
