The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Milbank Bulldogs (Milbank, SD) and the visiting Madison Bulldogs (Madison, SD), saw Milbank's volleyball squad nip Madison by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Milbank upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Bulldogs host Webster (Webster, SD) to play the Bearcats in a A District 2 bout on Thursday, September 2. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Webster lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Warner (Warner, SD)

The Bulldogs now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Canton for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 31. Madison will play a C-Hawks squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Dell Rapids (Dell Rapids, SD). The C-Hawks record now stands at 3-0.
