Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Cupertino Pioneers (Cupertino, CA) and the visiting Leland Chargers (San Jose, CA), saw Cupertino's basketball squad wallop Leland by a tally of 54-18.

With the victory, Cupertino improves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Homestead (Cupertino, CA) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 30. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 8-2. Homestead won 51-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Evergreen Valley (San Jose, CA)

Next up, the Chargers confront the Branham Bruins (San Jose, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 2. Leland will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record.
