The Mason County Royals (Maysville, KY) basketball nipped the host Ashland Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY), 60-57 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Royals (8-8) will now prepare for their test against Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 9-13 record.
