Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host East Chicago Central Cardinals (East Chicago, IN), 46-27 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lake Central upgrades its record to 21-6 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, IN) to play the Kougars in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 10. The Kougars come into the bout with a record of 21-3. Kankakee Valley won 64-55 in their recent non-league bout against Valparaiso (Valparaiso, IN)
