December 31, 2017: Centralia, IL 62801 The Evanston Wildkits (Evanston, IL) basketball nipped the host Centralia Orphans (Centralia, IL), 55-50 in Sunday's non-league test.
The Wildkits (11-3) will now prepare for their test against Niles West (Skokie, IL). The Wolves go into the Central Suburban - South test with a 3-8 record. In their last test, Niles West was tipped by Warren Township (Gurnee, IL), 59-52, in a non-league test.
The Orphans now own a 8-2 record. They play next when they host Cahokia for a South Seven test on Friday, January 5. Centralia will encounter a Comanches squad coming off a 61-45 non-league win over O'Fallon (O'Fallon, IL). The Comanches record now stands at 7-5.
