Virginia High School Basketball - Warhill succumbs to Gloucester
January 23, 2012: Gloucester, VA 23061 The Gloucester Dukes topped the visiting Warhill Lions basketball team by a final score of 64-55 in Monday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Dukes face the Hampton Crabbers (Hampton, VA) in a AAA Peninsula game, on Friday, January 27. Gloucester will attempt to move on its 4-13 season record. The Crabbers enter the game with a 13-3 record after their 89-58 league win over Denbigh (Newport News, VA).
The Lions now own a 6-10 record. They take the field next when they host Grafton for a AA Bay Rivers outing on Friday, January 27. Warhill will encounter a Clippers squad coming off a 63-42 league win over Bruton (Williamsburg, VA). The Clippers record now stands at 13-3.
