California High School Basketball - St. Joseph Academy holds off Escondido Charter
December 6, 2017: Escondido, CA 92027 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the St. Joseph Academy Crusaders (San Marcos, CA) and the host Escondido Charter White Tigers (Escondido, CA), saw St. Joseph Academy's basketball squad hold off Escondido Charter by a tally of 52-49.
With the victory, St. Joseph Academy improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Pacific Ridge (Carlsbad, CA) to confront the Firebird in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 7. The Firebird come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Pacific Ridge won 58-25 in their recent league challenge against Classical Academy (Escondido, CA)
Next up, the White Tigers confront the Tri-City Christian Eagles (Vista, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 7. Escondido Charter will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 38-36 non-league loss to St. Margaret's (San Juan Capistrano, CA).
