Game Story

California High School Basketball - Saugus tops Golden Valley

January 16, 2018: Saugus, CA 91350

Saugus Centurions (Saugus, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Golden Valley Grizzlies (Santa Clarita, CA), 67-48 in a league bout.

With the victory, Saugus upgrades its record to 16-3 on the campaign. The Centurions travel to Canyon (Canyon Country, CA) to play the Cowboys in a Foothill bout on Friday, January 19. The Cowboys come into the bout with a record of 17-4. Canyon won 66-46 in their recent league bout against Hart (Newhall, CA)

Next up, the Grizzlies play the Valencia Vikings (Valencia, CA) in a Foothill bout, on Friday, January 19. Golden Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 11-9 record after their 63-16 league win over West Ranch (Valencia, CA).
