Virginia High School Basketball - Lee tops Jefferson
January 2, 2018: Alexandria, VA 22312 Lee Lancers (Springfield, VA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Jefferson Colonials (Alexandria, VA), 55-46 in a league bout.
With the victory, Lee upgrades its record to 1-10 on the campaign. The Lancers host Marshall (Falls Church, VA) to play the Statesmen in a District 5 bout on Friday, January 5. The Statesmen come into the bout with a record of 7-1.
Next up, the Colonials play the Stuart Raiders (Falls Church, VA) in a District 5 bout, on Friday, January 5. Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Raiders enter the game with a 2-7 record after their 57-37 non-league loss to Fairfax (Fairfax, VA).
