August 29, 2009: Pflugerville, TX 78660 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Hendrickson Hawks (Pflugerville, TX) and the visiting Hondo Owls (Hondo, TX), saw Hendrickson's volleyball squad beat Hondo by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Hendrickson upgrades its record to 8-3 on the year. The Hawks host McCallum (Austin, TX) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 1. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 2-4. McCallum lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Marble Falls (Marble Falls, TX)
The Owls now own a 9-10 record. They play next when they travel to Brackenridge for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 29. Hondo will play a Eagles squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Eagle Pass (Eagle Pass, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 7-5.
