Montour Spartans (McKees Rocks, PA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host General McLane Lancers (Edinboro, PA), 48-38 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Montour upgrades its record to 23-4 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Hampton (Allison Park, PA) to play the Talbots in a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 20. The Talbots come into the bout with a record of 25-4. Hampton won 45-44 in their recent non-league bout against Archbishop Carroll (Radnor, PA)
