Virginia High School Basketball - Covenant tipped by Hargrave Military Academy

January 31, 2015: Chatham, VA 24531

The Hargrave Military Academy Tigers basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Covenant Eagles to 45 in the Tigers league triumph on Saturday.

The Tigers now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fishburne Military for a VISAA Division 2 contest on Monday, February 2. Hargrave Military Academy will meet a Caissons team coming off a 76-37 non-league win over Holy Cross Regional (Lynchburg, VA). The Caissons record now stands at 6-8.

The Eagles (7-11) will now prepare for their contest against Roanoke Catholic (Roanoke, VA). The Celtics enter the VISAA Division 3 contest with a 6-10 record. In their last contest, Roanoke Catholic was nudged by Covenant (Charlottesville, VA), 61-59, in a league contest.
