Texas High School Basketball - Canadian edges Beaver
December 30, 2010: Canadian, TX 79014 The Canadian Wildcats (Canadian, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Beaver Dusters (Beaver, OK), 61-57 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (11-1) will now prepare for their test against Perryton (Perryton, TX). The Rangers go into the non-league test with a 8-4 record. In their last test, Perryton got by Floydada (Floydada, TX), 57-34, in a non-league test.
The Dusters now own a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Follett for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 4. Beaver will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 53-22 non-league win over Petersburg (Petersburg, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 4-9.
