Connecticut High School Ice Hockey - Norwalk/McMahon drops to Stamford
January 11, 2016: Stamford, CT 06902 Stamford Black Knights (Stamford, CT) fans left the game thrilled Monday as they witnessed their ice hockey team achieve victory over the visiting Norwalk/McMahon Bears (Norwalk, CT), 9-3 in a league match.
The Black Knights (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Darien (Darien, CT). The Blue Wave enter the FCIAC match with a 5-1 record. In their last match, Darien held off West Haven (West Haven, CT), 4-1, in a non-league match.
Next up, the Bears encounter the Wethersfield/Rocky Hill/Middletown Eagles (Wethersfield, CT) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, January 13. Norwalk/McMahon will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 1-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Fermi/Enfield/East Granby (Enfield, CT).
