Esperanza Aztecs (Anaheim, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Segerstrom Jaguars (Santa Ana, CA), 57-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Esperanza upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Aztecs travel to Garden Grove (Garden Grove, CA) to play the Argonauts in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 17. The Argonauts go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Garden Grove lost 70-41 in their recent non-league bout against El Monte (El Monte, CA)

Next up, the Jaguars play the Calvary Chapel Eagles (Santa Ana, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 22. Segerstrom will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
