October 29, 2010: Haines City, FL 33844 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Fort Meade Miners football squad scored a good 21-0 victory over the Haines City Hornets.
In their next game, the Miners clash with the Clearwater Central Catholic Marauders (Clearwater, FL) in a 1A District 6 match, on Friday, November 5. Fort Meade will attempt to move on its 9-0 season record. The Marauders enter the match with a 6-2 record after their 35-0 non-league win over Cardinal Mooney (Sarasota, FL).
The Hornets (2-7) will now prepare for their match against Ridge (Davenport, FL). The Bolts enter the 4A District 8 match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, Ridge dropped by Lake Wales (Lake Wales, FL), 38-13, in a non-league test.
