The Wharton Tigers basketball team (Wharton, TX), was overwhelmed 73-39 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Episcopal Knights (Bellaire, TX)

The Knights now possess a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to The Woodlands Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 21. Episcopal will confront a Warriors team coming off a 75-55 non-league win over Christian HomeSchool Sports Ministries (Spring, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 9-10.

The Tigers (8-6) will now prepare for their battle against Hempstead (Hempstead, TX). The Bobcats come into the non-league outing with a 5-8 record. In their last outing, Hempstead smashed Travis (Austin, TX), 64-51, in a non-league outing.
