Texas High School Volleyball - Judson tips Somerset
August 21, 2010: Somerset, TX 78069 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Judson Rockets (Converse, TX) and the host Somerset Bulldogs (Somerset, TX), saw Judson's volleyball squad nip Somerset by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Judson upgrades its record to 8-4 on the year. The Rockets host Wagner (San Antonio, TX) to play the Thunderbirds in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 21. The Thunderbirds go into the bout with a record of 11-2. Wagner won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against George West (George West, TX)
The Bulldogs now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Holy Cross for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 24. Somerset will play a Knights squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Southside (San Antonio, TX). The Knights record now stands at 3-8.
