Connecticut High School Lacrosse - Stamford can't get by Bellport
April 14, 2012: Stamford, CT 06902 In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Bellport Clippers lacrosse team scored a close 7-6 win over the Stamford Black Knights.
The Clippers now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Deer Park for a Section 11 II battle on Monday, April 16. Bellport will face a Falcons team coming off a 7-3 league win over Mattituck-Southold-Greenport (Greenport, NY). The Falcons record now stands at 1-0.
In their next game, the Black Knights face the King Low Heywood Thomas Vikings (Stamford, CT) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 16. Stamford will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Vikings come into the battle with a 1-3 record after their 11-6 non-league loss to Harvey (Katonah, NY).
