May 2, 2011: Shepherd, MI 48883 Shepherd Bluejays (Shepherd, MI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Ovid-Elsie Marauders (Elsie, MI), 7-3 in a league test.
With the win, Shepherd upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Bluejays travel to Hemlock (Hemlock, MI) to battle the Huskies in a Tri-Valley - Central test on Thursday, May 5. Game Summary
Chris Williams came in to relieve an injured Troy Stressman and went 3 scoreless innings. Joe Pifer finally broke up a 3-3 tie in the 8th with a bases loaded double. Joe also had a single in the game and Nick Ramon contributed a single and double.
