September 23, 2011: Summit, MS 39666 The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the North Pike Jaguars (Summit, MS) and the visiting Amite County Trojans (Liberty, MS), observed North Pike's football squad edge Amite County by a count of 21-16.
The Jaguars now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lawrence County for a 4A Region 7 contest on Friday, September 30. North Pike will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 20-18 non-league loss to Franklin County (Meadville, MS). The Cougars record now stands at 2-3.
