Virginia High School Basketball - Liberty Christian falls to Miller

The Miller Mavericks basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Liberty Christian Bulldogs to 43 in the Mavericks league triumph on Thursday.

The Mavericks now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Roanoke Catholic for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 25. Miller will confront a Celtics team coming off a 87-67 non-league loss to Benedictine (Richmond, VA). The Celtics record now stands at 13-9.

With the defeat, Liberty Christian moves to 11-10 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Blue Ridge (St. George, VA) to confront the Barons in a non-league match on Saturday, February 20. The Barons enter the match with a record of 18-4. Blue Ridge lost 90-83 in their recent league match against Miller (Charlottesville, VA)
