Louisiana High School Basketball - Riverside overwhelms Jefferson Academy
December 4, 2010: Reserve, LA 70084 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Riverside Rebels (Reserve, LA) and the visiting Jefferson Academy (Gretna, LA), saw Riverside's basketball squad trounce Jefferson Academy by a score of 76-30.
With the victory, Riverside improves its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to St. Mary's Academy (New Orleans, LA) to battle the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 20. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 4-3.
Next up, the battle the Lutheran Gryphons (Metairie, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 13. Jefferson Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record.
