Washington High School Football - Blaine felled by Ferndale
September 19, 2014: Blaine, WA 98230 In Friday's league game, the Ferndale Golden Eagles (Ferndale, WA) football team were victorious over the host Blaine Borderites (Blaine, WA), by a score of 33-14.
The Golden Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA). The Tigers come into the 2A/3A Northwest game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Burlington-Edison was knocked off by Sedro-Woolley (Sedro-Woolley, WA), 28-10, in a league game.
The Borderites now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sehome for a 2A/3A Northwest game on Friday, September 26. Blaine will meet a Mariners team coming off a 38-7 league win over Anacortes (Anacortes, WA). The Mariners record now stands at 2-1.
