North Carolina High School Soccer - Queen's Grant overwhelmed by Union Academy
April 27, 2016: Matthews, NC 28105 The crowd at Wednesday's league test between the Union Academy Cardinals (Monroe, NC) and the host Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC), saw Union Academy's soccer squad triumph over Queen's Grant by a margin of 9-0.
The Cardinals now sport a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Albemarle for a Uwharrie Athletic 1A test on Monday, May 2. Union Academy will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 5-2 league loss to North Stanly (New London, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-12.
With the loss, Queen's Grant drops to 11-6 on the season. The Stallions host South Stanly (Norwood, NC) to encounter the Rowdy Rebel Bulls in a Uwharrie Athletic 1A test on Monday, May 2. The Rowdy Rebel Bulls come into the test with a record of 0-12. South Stanly lost 9-0 in their recent league test against Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC)
