Norwalk Bears (Norwalk, CT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Greenwich Cardinals (Greenwich, CT), 54-46 in a league bout.

With the win, Norwalk upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Bears host New Canaan (New Canaan, CT) to play the Rams in a Fairfield County bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 2-13. New Canaan lost 37-27 in their recent league bout against Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Trumbull Golden Eagles (Trumbull, CT) in a Fairfield County bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Greenwich will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a 15-0 record after their 49-21 league win over Westhill (Stamford, CT).
