Hamer (Bronx, NY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Pinkerton Astros (Derry, NH), 85-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hamer upgrades its record to 15-5 on the season. The host Morrisania (Bronx, NY) to play the Lions in a PSAL Bronx - B West bout on Friday, January 28. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 3-9. Morrisania lost 62-39 in their recent non-league bout against Bathgate (Bronx, NY)

Next up, the Astros play the Spaulding Red Raiders (Rochester, NH) in a Division I bout, on Tuesday, January 25. Pinkerton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 64-53 league loss to Manchester Memorial (Manchester, NH).
