The Auburn Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Giles Spartans to 0 in the Eagles league victory on Tuesday.

The Eagles now have a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Floyd County for a A Three Rivers game on Thursday, October 9. Auburn will meet a Buffaloes team coming off a 3-0 league win over Eastern Montgomery (Elliston, VA). The Buffaloes record now stands at 5-5.

The Spartans (1-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Glenvar (Salem, VA). The Highlanders enter the A Three Rivers challenge with a 13-0 record. In their last challenge, Glenvar defeated Radford (Radford, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
