The Hermon Hawks (Hermon, ME) football routed the visiting Mount Desert Island Trojans (Mount Desert, ME), 49-14 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Hawks face the Old Town Coyotes (Old Town, ME) in a C North bout, on Friday, October 5. Hermon will attempt to advance on its 4-1 season record. The Coyotes enter the bout with a 2-3 record after their 56-0 league loss to Maine Central Institute (Pittsfield, ME).

The Trojans (1-4) will now prepare for their bout against Nokomis (Newport, ME). The Warriors enter the C North bout with a 2-3 record. In their last bout, Nokomis was overwhelmed by Leavitt (Turner, ME), 25-6, in a non-league bout.
