Game Summary
Against the Chargers, the Lions found themselves down 5 - 4 going in to the bottom of the sixth inning. Donnell Taylor led off with his second walk of the day. Brandon Symoens, who went to play right field in the fourth inning due to Matt Smith's foot injury, laid down a sacrifice bunt that the Crest pitcher threw into right field. Annoyed at the error, the Chargers' right fielder threw the ball off of the visitor's dugout. After the dust settled, Taylor had scored to tie the game and Symoens was perched at third. Then, the Lions Lumber Company went to work, as the Lions scored 5 more on singles by Devon Pedro and Bubby Terp, a doubly by co-captain Ian Lynch and a triple by co-captain Keon Barnum. Brett Morales pitched the final two innings to pick up the win.
