North Carolina High School Basketball - Concord edges Northwest Cabarrus

February 9, 2016: Concord, NC 28025

The Concord Spiders (Concord, NC) basketball nipped the visiting Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC), 75-72 in Tuesday's league test.

The Spiders (21-2) will now prepare for their test against Robinson (Concord, NC). The Bulldogs go into the South Piedmont 3A test with a 19-3 record. In their last test, Robinson got by South Rowan (China Grove, NC), 70-57, in a league test.

The Trojans now own a 10-12 record. They play next when they host Central Cabarrus for a South Piedmont 3A test on Friday, February 12. Northwest Cabarrus will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 68-53 league win over East Rowan (Salisbury, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 9-12.
