In Friday's league match, the visiting Harnett Central Trojans football squad scored a good 27-6 victory over the Union Pines Vikings.

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Grays Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC) in a Cape Fear Valley match, on Friday, October 24. Harnett Central will attempt to move on its 8-0 season record. The Bears enter the match with a 4-4 record after their 36-6 league win over Southern Lee (Sanford, NC).
