The San Marcos Rattlers basketball team (San Marcos, TX), dropped 65-56 in Friday's league battle with the host Anderson Trojans (Austin, TX)

The Trojans now possess a 12-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Del Valle for a 6A Region II District 14 battle on Tuesday, February 7. Anderson will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 58-44 league win over Manor (Manor, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 19-5.

The Rattlers (16-13) will now prepare for their battle against Bowie (Austin, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 6A Region II District 14 battle with a 18-7 record.
