September 14, 2012: White River Junction, VT 05001 In Friday's league game, the Hartford Hurricanes (White River Junction, VT) football team smashed the visiting Mt. Mansfield Cougars (Jericho, VT), by a final score of 36-0.
The Hurricanes (3-0) will now prepare for their game against Brattleboro (Brattleboro, VT). The Colonels come into the Division I game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Brattleboro was trounced by Rutland (Rutland, VT), 28-18, in a league game.
The Cougars now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Essex for a Division I game on Friday, September 21. Mt. Mansfield will battle a Hornets team coming off a 33-26 league win over Champlain Valley Union (Hinesburg, VT). The Hornets record now stands at 3-0.
