Pennsylvania High School Football - Ferndale thwarted by Conemaugh Valley
October 21, 2006: Johnstown, PA 15906 Conemaugh Valley Bluejays (Johnstown, PA) followers exited the stadium content Saturday as they observed their football squad topple the visiting Ferndale Yellow Jackets (Johnstown, PA), 36-12 in a league challenge.
The Bluejays now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Blacklick Valley for a Western Pennsylvania [WPAC] challenge on Saturday, October 28. Conemaugh Valley will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 18-0 league loss to North Star (Boswell, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 3-5.
With the defeat, Ferndale moves to 2-6 on the campaign. The Yellow jackets host Windber (Windber, PA) to clash with the Ramblers in a Western Pennsylvania [WPAC] challenge on Saturday, October 28. The Ramblers go into the challenge with a record of 7-1. Windber lost 21-9 in their recent league challenge against Meyersdale (Meyersdale, PA)
